Welcome Square Peg Round Hole to the Spartan Family! New Full-Length Album "Juniper" To Be Released March 25th. Sufjan Steven's "Only At Christmas Time" Cover Out Now! December 17, 2015

We're very pleased to announce that instrumental percussion trio Square Peg Round Hole have joined the Spartan Records family! The band's sophomore full-length album Juniper will be released on March 25, 2016. Watch premiere of the video for their cover of Sufjan Stevens' "Only At Christmas Time," which is featured on our new holiday album Homesick Again: A Spartan Records Christmas Album. The song is available for download now at the Spartan store and Bandcamp.

Square Peg Round Hole create music at once expansive and intimate, luxurious with the energy of unison drums, the serenity vibraphone, and the fascinating timbres of found objects. Listening to their new record Juniper, it's almost impossible to imagine that the bulk of the recording was done live in full takes. Elegant, articulate, and expansive, Juniper manages to convey – and evoke – an entire range of human emotions despite its lack of a single sung word. A sonic mirror reflecting the listener's subconscious emotional state back at themselves, Juniper engages with the fundamental and primeval.

Stay tuned for more information about the album, new music, pre-orders, and much more and be sure to follow the band on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest news and updates.
